    Tire Pig, Inc. ("Tire Pig," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit tirepig.com (the "Site"), create an account, make a purchase, join the Piggy Back Club, or otherwise interact with us. Please read this policy carefully.

    By using the Site, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

    1. Information We Collect

    We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.

    a. Information You Provide

    • Account Information: Name, email address, password, and membership tier when you create a Piggy Back Club account.
    • Purchase Information: Billing address, shipping address, phone number, and vehicle information (year, make, model, trim) when you place an order.
    • Payment Information: Credit/debit card numbers, billing details, or financing application data. Payment card data is processed by PCI-compliant third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
    • Financing Applications: If you apply for financing through our Piggy Bank suite (Affirm, Klarna, PayPal, or Katapult), those providers collect information directly and subject to their own privacy policies. Payments processed through Shopify Payments are subject to Shopify's privacy policy.
    • Communications: Messages you send us via email, phone, chat, or contact forms, including support inquiries and return requests.
    • User Content: Reviews, ratings, photos, or other content you submit to the Site.
    • Survey and Promotion Data: Responses to surveys, contests, or promotional offers.

    b. Information Collected Automatically

    When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:

    • Device and Browser Information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and screen resolution.
    • Usage Data: Pages visited, links clicked, search queries, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and session data.
    • Location Data: General geographic location inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location without your consent.

    c. Information from Third Parties

    We may receive information about you from third parties including analytics providers (such as PostHog), advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta), payment processors, installer partners, and data enrichment services, which we may combine with information we already hold about you.

    2. How We Use Your Information

    We use the information we collect to:

    • Process and fulfill your orders, including coordinating delivery and installation services;
    • Manage your Piggy Back Club membership and deliver associated benefits;
    • Operate the Pig-Intelligence AI recommendation engine and personalize your experience;
    • Communicate with you about your orders, account, and membership;
    • Send marketing and promotional communications (where you have consented or where permitted by law — see Section 6 for opt-out options);
    • Conduct analytics, improve our products and services, and develop new features;
    • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
    • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use;
    • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
    • Conduct research, surveys, and promotional activities;
    • Process financing applications and facilitate third-party lending services.

    3. How We Share Your Information

    We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information as follows:

    • Service Providers: We share data with vendors who help us operate the Site and our business, including payment processors (Shopify, Affirm, Klarna, PayPal, Katapult), shipping carriers, warehouse and fulfillment partners, email platforms (such as Klaviyo), analytics providers (PostHog), and customer support tools. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
    • Financing Partners: If you use Piggy Bank financing, we share necessary order and identity information with the applicable lender (Affirm, Klarna, PayPal, or Katapult). Each lender's use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
    • Installer Network: If you schedule mobile installation services, we share your name, contact information, and vehicle details with the applicable independent Installer to fulfill your appointment.
    • Advertising Platforms: We may share hashed or aggregated customer data with Google and Meta/Facebook for purposes of remarketing, lookalike audiences, and conversion measurement. This may be done through pixel technology or customer list matching. You can opt out as described in Section 6.
    • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar corporate transaction involving Tire Pig, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Site before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
    • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, or government authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

    4. Data Retention

    We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for a reasonable period thereafter. Transaction records are typically retained for seven (7) years in accordance with tax and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your account data at any time subject to our legal retention obligations (see Section 8).

    5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

    We use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate the Site, analyze usage, and deliver relevant advertising.

    • Essential Cookies: Required for the Site to function (e.g., shopping cart, session management). Cannot be disabled.
    • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors use the Site (e.g., PostHog, Google Analytics). These may be disabled without affecting core functionality.

    6. Marketing Communications and Opt-Out

    We may send you promotional emails, SMS messages, or push notifications about new products, offers, and Piggy Back Club benefits. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by:

    • Clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email;
    • Replying STOP to any marketing SMS;
    • Updating your communication preferences in your account settings;

    Please allow up to 10 business days for opt-out requests to take effect. Note that even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send transactional messages related to your orders, account, and membership.

    7. Data Security

    We implement reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, access controls, and vendor security requirements. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use strong passwords and protect your account credentials.

    In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

    8. Your Rights and Choices

    Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

    • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
    • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
    • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations.

    9. California Residents — CCPA/CPRA Rights

    If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), grants you additional rights:

    • Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share.
    • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to exceptions.
    • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.

    • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: Where we collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA, you may direct us to limit its use.
    • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

    California residents may submit requests via the methods in Section 8. We will respond within 45 days and may extend by an additional 45 days with notice.

    10. Other State Privacy Rights

    Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Texas (TDPSA), and other states with applicable privacy laws may have rights similar to those described above. Please contact us at info@tirepig.com to submit a privacy rights request under your applicable state law.

    11. Children's Privacy

    The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.     The Site may contain links to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
